Position Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Virtual Medical Assistant to support a multispecialty clinic. This role focuses on preparing patient charts, verifying insurance and documentation, communicating financial responsibilities, and ensuring smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify insurance coverage and identify issues using portals or direct calls
• Prepare and update patient charts, demographics, and referrals
• Confirm authorizations, documentation, and PCP information
• Inform patients of costs, coverage gaps, or self-pay options
• Coordinate referrals, including obtaining missing documentsHandle appointment confirmations, follow-ups, and schedule changes
