Job Description
On a day-to-day basis, the Power BI Architect serves as the enterprise lead for all Power BI-related initiatives, owning the design, development, deployment, and continuous optimization of reporting and analytics solutions across the organization. They are responsible for architecting and governing the Power BI environment, including managing workspaces, deployment pipelines, tenant configurations, security, gateways, and Fabric capacity, while proactively monitoring platform performance, resolving refresh and scalability issues, and maintaining a trusted and well-governed analytics ecosystem. This role involves defining and enforcing development standards for DAX, Power Query, and data modeling, as well as implementing performance optimization strategies such as incremental refresh, composite models, and reusable semantic layers to ensure scalable, high-performing solutions.
