OVERVIEW
The Reporter is an experienced news reporter/anchor who will research and pitch major business and financial news stories to our client, the business channel of a China state broadcaster. In this role, you will write in-depth analytical and balanced reports on selected topics, as well as deliver the reports on-air in Chinese language.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Research, identify and effectively pitch the latest business, finance, economy and/or markets news stories to the client on daily basis
- Write daily and weekly news reports on selected topics in Chinese for the client under tight deadlines
- Record on-air daily reports for the client on the selected topic
- Record on-air weekly reports for the client on featured business personnel of the week
- Produce news packages and/or feature stories for the client as required
- Translate all reports and packages from Chinese to English
