Research Engineer (Marine and Offshore Hydrodynamics), TCOMS

?Job Description

·Contribute to high-quality research and development work in TCOMS laboratory through physical experiments including:

odesign of scaled physical test models, such as maritime vessels, offshore rigs, marine renewable platforms, and aquaculture systems for testing in TCOMS Ocean Basin.

ogeneration of detailed design, production, assembly, and as-built drawings of test models.

oWork with a team of engineers and technicians on model fabrication and modification, calibration, instrumentation, and experimental setup.

oenhance the measurement of models? behaviour and response by use of appropriate sensors.

odocument design processes, methodologies, and results.

ocontribute to process enhancements for improved efficiency of research work.
