Research Fellow (Engineering)
This joint research project is between Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and Imperial College Global Singapore (IGS). The objective of the research is to overcome the challenges related to the use of ammonia in solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs) so that SOFCs can effectively use the energy potential of ammonia and maintain a high level of performance and durability in the long term.
We are looking for Research Fellow to perform the research activities in the project. The role will focus on development of direct ammonia solid oxide fuel cells.
Key Responsibilities:
Literature review of SOFCs and the preparation methods
Synthesis, fabricate and evaluate the performance of SOFCs using ammonia as a feedstock
Perform material characterization of the SOFC cells
Perform studies to understand the fundamental mechanism and reactions in the SOFCs
