- Ph.D in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Solid knowledge of semiconductor device physics and fabrication processes
- Experience in design and development of silicon photodetectors and/or other types of semiconductor radiation detectors
- Familiarity with cleanroom environment and CMOS fabrication tools and methods
- Experience in semiconductor device and process simulation tools (TCAD)
- Experience in characterisation of radiation detectors and photodetectors
- Experience in detector packaging/assembly or ASIC-based detector readout electronics
