Research Software Engineer / Staff Scientist
Permanent, full‑time position. Desired start date: autumn 2026.
Responsibilities
- Provide software development and consulting as a team service to research groups.
- Offer one‑on‑one and group research support in software, programming, Linux, data, and infrastructure.
- Provide mentorship through open‑science best practices.
- Teach and support research infrastructure as needed.
- Continually learn new skills as part of the team.
Qualifications
- PhD with research experience in a computational field and knowledge of practical computing strategies for research, OR
