JOB SUMMARY
The post holder will assist in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care provision for children with severe learning disabilities, complex behavioural needs, and associated challenges related to behaviour and communication.
The post holder must have an interest in working intensively with children who have a Severe Learning Disability, other comorbid diagnosis, limited to no verbal communication, need help with personal care.
KEY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
Comply with all policies, procedures, standards and guidelines of relevant professional body, for conduct and professional practice.
Deliver safe, compassionate and effective care to the young people.
Support them in all aspects of personal care.
Observe young people's behaviour recording and responding to any change of mood or feeling unwell and attend to same, documenting and reporting action taken.
