Responsibilities

• Assess patients (clients, residents) and develop and implement respiratory therapy care plans.
• Monitor patient progress and manage diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory equipment and interventions.
• Collaborate with clinical teams and groups to enhance clinical outcomes.
• Provide training and assist healthcare providers in the use and care of respiratory equipment.
• Educate patients and their families regarding diseases, medications, equipment, and treatments.
• Float through all units of the hospital, working independently and with interprofessional teams.
