RETAIL ASSISTANT

Roles & responsibilities include: Support the day-to-day business operations of the retail store. Greeting customers, the moment they enter the store and making them feel welcome. Perform cashiering function / Cashiering counter closing. Be approachable and be a good listener in discovering customers' needs. Recommend a product and solution in meeting customers' needs & objectives. Generate interest through the sharing of product knowledge. Keeping abreast of product knowledge through continuous learning. Overcoming customers' objections. Upselling of pet accessories, toys etc. Promote and market PLC membership sign-ups & renewals. Provide tender loving care to small animals in the store. Perform general housekeeping to maintain a safe and hygienic environment for staff, customers and pets. Closing sales with pride and a high level of professionalism.
