Navantia UK is looking for a safety-first, motivated individual to join our Methil Shipbuilding Yard as a Rigger Improver. This is a hands-on opportunity to build a career in rigging while gaining industry-recognised skills and certifications, supporting major operational projects.
What You’ll Do
- Learn and apply rigging techniques, lifting methods, and safe equipment use
- Support qualified riggers with lifting, moving, and positioning loads
- Assist with setup and dismantling of lifting operations
- Inspect and prepare rigging gear and lifting equipment
- Follow all health & safety procedures and use PPE correctly
- Communicate effectively within the team using signals/radio where required
