Overview

The primary responsibility of this RN position is to supervise the day‑to‑day nursing activities of the facility during the tour of duty, ensuring compliance with federal, state, local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern the facility. The RN works in coordination with the Director of Nursing and the Assistant Director of Nursing to maintain the highest degree of quality care at all times.

Responsibilities Administrative Functions Assist the Director of Nursing Services in directing the day‑to‑day functions of the nursing activities in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the long‑term care facility. Participate in developing, maintaining, and updating written policies and procedures that govern the day‑to‑day functions of the nursing service department.
