RN Inpatient Surgical Unit

This is a registered nurse opening on the inpatient surgical unit at a 523-bed acute care hospital in Gainesville, FL — a Joint Commission–accredited facility designated as a Comprehensive Stroke Center, an Accredited Chest Pain Center by the American College of Cardiology, and a Blue Distinction Center for both Spine Surgery and Bariatric Surgery.


The role. As an RN on the inpatient surgical unit, you will deliver direct patient care to surgical populations in an environment that supports minimally invasive laparoscopic and robotic procedures, weight loss surgery, and a broad spectrum of surgical services. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe transitions through the surgical continuum.
