RN Med Surg Night Facility: Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Lakeway, TX Department: Our nurses are trained for our post op and stroke patients, many have stroke and spine education and certifications as well as orthopedic education Status: Full Time, 36 hrs. per week Shift: Night Shift, (7pm-7am- self-scheduling with rotating weekends) 15 Beds Patient Ratio: 5:1 We work with surgeons and create positive relationships to support those with spine injuries and back pain. We also work closely with therapy for patient mobility and ensure our patients are up and moving post op This is our specialty unit and a special group of patients we get to make relationships with for a better future. If you want to go into orthopedics, PT/OT this is your unit! This unit is fast paced, lots of patient turn over and staff need to be ready for lots of discharges and admissions daily.
