Robot Programmer

The Robot Programmer will be responsible for the commissioning, and support of industrial robotic automation systems across a range of applications. The role involves hands‑on robot programming, system integration, and on‑site commissioning activities, working closely with the Company Director, Controls Engineers, and Design Engineers to deliver safe, robust, and commercially viable automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Program, commission, and support industrial robots within automated manufacturing cells.
• Work with FANUC and ABB robotic systems (OEM training can be provided where required).
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of robotic kinematics including Cartesian, SCARA, Delta, and 6‑axis articulated robots.
• Configure and operate robots with additional integrated axes such as rails, positioners, and rotary tables.
• Set up and maintain Tool Frames and User Frames to a very high standard of positional accuracy.
