Robotic Welder Programmer

This position is with an established and reputable engineering company based in New Germany, KwaZulu-Natal, known for delivering high-quality production and manufacturing solutions. The Robotic Welder Programmer will be responsible for developing, programming, testing, and maintaining robotic welding cells to meet production, quality, and safety standards. This role collaborates closely with engineering, production, and maintenance teams to optimize welding processes and accuracy. Key Responsibilities Create, modify, and optimize robot programs for MIG, TIG, spot, and stud welding robots using Teach Pendant and Virtual Pendant systems. Develop welding parameters, torch/payload offsets, tool center point (TCP) calibrations, and weld seam tracking as required. Translate engineering drawings and welding procedures into repeatable, automated robotic processes. Perform simulation and off-line programming using specialized software.
