WPS is looking for an experienced Roofer to join our Responsive Maintenance team , working on a social housing contract in the Barnsley area .

You’ll be carrying out day‑to‑day roofing repairs and maintenance across occupied social housing properties, delivering a high‑quality service while maintaining excellent standards of safety and customer care.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out responsive roofing repairs and maintenance across social housing properties
• Undertake roof inspections, fault diagnosis and remedial works
• Work in line with Health & Safety , safeguarding and company procedures
• Communicate effectively with schedulers, supervisors and residents
• Complete job records and materials used via a handheld/PDA system
• Work collaboratively with other trades when required
