Safety Engineer Associate (Entry Level)

**Description:** The Fleet Ballistic Missile program at Strategic Weapons Facility Pacific (SWFPAC) in Silverdale, Washington is seeking an Associate Safety Engineer to support local field site operations. The focus of this entry-level role is to develop and apply your ability to recognize, evaluate and eliminate/control occupational health hazards or environmental stressors and to ensure applicable safety standards are adhered to in areas including (but not limited to) HAZMAT, ordnance handling, injury reporting, fall protection, lock-out tag-out, ergonomics, and electrical/mechanical safety.
You will report directly to the Senior Manager of Base Management, and take daily tasking from the Safety Team Lead. You will assist the team in daily tasks as you become a subject matter expert and help identify opportunities to direct action and optimize Safety at the facility.
