Salaried GP

This is an exciting opportunity to join our friendly, well‑organised GP training and Cambridge University teaching practice. Due to relocation, and to support our practice's approach to a favourable work/life balance, we are looking for a Salaried GP to work 4- 8 sessions per week. We are keen to employ an enthusiastic and motivated GP who will bring a compassionate approach to patient care and become a valuable member of our successful practice team.

Main duties of the job

Salaried GPs work as part of the team, sharing duties on different days, e.g.

• Conducting telephone and video consultations with patients


• Seeing patients face‑to‑face, including home visits where needed


• Duty doctor/back up doctor responsible for triaging 'same day' patient concerns via telephone or AccuRx triage


• Checking and signing repeat prescriptions


• Checking and filing test results and medical reports
