What you’ll do:
The Agronomist works to acquire knowledge and experience to establish credibility and to develop ongoing, profitable sales relationships with the Co-operative’s customers. Contributes to the overall success of the Agro team through support and cross promotion of Farm & Ranch and Petroleum services and products. Key responsibilities are but not limited to:
Develop long-term customer relationships as a trusted agronomic advisor
Build and manage a customer list through proactive customer contact and follow-up
Execute sales plans aligned with retail goals and inventory strategies
Grow sales and margins across seed, fertilizer, and crop protection products
Deliver timely crop scouting and recommendations that lead to product and service sales
Promote bundled agronomy solutions, including drone scouting, custom application and soil sampling
