The Role
The Functional Lead – Commercial (Retail) is responsible for driving end-to-end solution design, process optimization, and implementation of SAP S/4HANA Commercial/SD processes within a retail environment. This role acts as the primary bridge between business stakeholders and the SAP technical teams, ensuring that commercial processes are aligned with business goals, industry best practices, and S/4HANA capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Solution Design & Delivery
Lead design workshops for Order-to-Cash (O2C), pricing, promotions, retail master data, and integration with POS/e-commerce systems.
Translate business requirements into functional specifications for S/4HANA.
Drive the configuration of SAP SD and retail-related commercial processes.
Ensure solutions adhere to SAP best practices, industry standards, and enterprise architecture.
