Scalehouse Operator
AltaSteel is looking for a detail-oriented, customer-focused Scalehouse Operator to join our team. Reporting to the Scalehouse Manager, the Scalehouse Operator works in a fast-paced industrial environment and must be accurate and detail oriented. The incumbent is the first point of contact for all drivers delivering and picking up products at AltaSteel, and must represent the company in a professional, courteous manner. In addition, the incumbent would enjoy working closely with colleagues and forming new working relationships daily with external stakeholders and internal departments.
Responsibilities:
Direct, scale and ticket all inbound and outbound rail cars and trucks

Request and organize trucks from outbound shipments daily, ensuring each customer gets the right product on time, in the right quantities

Daily verbal communication – in person and radio communication
