About the role

Tradewind Recruitment is supporting a primary school based in the Lambeth area who require a School Caretaker / Premises Assistant on a temporary contract basis, starting after May half term. This would be a full-time, temporary contract until July 2026.

Hours are typically structured around the school day, including early morning opening and late afternoon closing.

As a School Caretaker, you will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and security of the school site. This includes opening and closing the building, carrying out minor repairs and maintenance, managing deliveries, ensuring communal spaces and outdoor areas are clean and safe, and supporting the preparation of rooms for events.
