Job Summary
Do you want to make a real difference in children’s lives through nutritious food? At Ripple Education, we’re proud to support schools across Northumberland and are looking for a catering assistant to join a school in the Haydon Bridge and Hexham area.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and serve food following agreed menus and accommodate any special dietary requirements.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in the school kitchen, including equipment and surrounding areas.
- Set up and clear away after lunch, including washing up and cleaning tables.
- Comply with all food and Health and Safety standards and regulations.
- Take responsibility for maintaining and ordering stock, ensuring appropriate storage and labelling procedures are followed.
