Bede Polding College is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and committed person to the role of Science Laboratory Assistant.
About the Role
The candidate must be dynamic, enthusiastic, well-organised, and innovative in their role, as well as having the ability to work independently and as part of a team to provide support for the science laboratories.
Key Selection criteria
The role of the Science Laboratory Assistant is a delegated responsibility by the Principal and will work closely with the Head of Science and the Science Department for the leadership and management of the following key areas:
- Preparing and organising equipment and materials for Junior and Senior classes (Physics, Biology and Chemistry) through the Risk Assessment Web Portal
- Providing advice and assistance to teaching staff in regards to matters of laboratory safety
