Proteins are the molecular machines of life, used for many therapeutic, diagnostic, chemical, agricultural and food applications. Designing and optimizing proteins requires significant expert knowledge and manual effort, typically through custom computational and biological tools.

Machine learning is revolutionizing this space by enabling high‑fidelity protein models. At Cradle, we offer a software platform that helps biologists design proteins faster and at scale. Our customers include biopharma, biotech, agri‑tech, food‑tech, and academia.

We are an experienced team of around 90 people, already having built successful products and with sufficient funding to support several years of runway. The team is distributed between Zurich and Amsterdam and is dedicated to building an excellent team culture.
