Scientist/Senior Scientist, TCOMS

JOB DESCRIPTION

Lead and drive the development of ocean and coastal modelling capabilities, including:

·Development of high-resolution coastal models for the regional and local waters using DELFT3D-FM/MIKE; and/or

·Development of high-resolution ocean circulation models for the regional waters using NEMO;

·Development of relevant tools, techniques, and methodologies, such as data assimilation, data-driven models and Bayesian networks.

·Working as senior member of research teams carrying out projects related to the development of models for forecasting and prediction of the metocean environment.

·Lead and undertake management of project tasks and produce the deliverables within the agreed parameters in an appropriate format, to ensure that relevant project tasks are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
