Responsibilities
- Conceptualise content for TV and digital platforms
- Conduct research and write programme proposals for single, serial dramas, info-educational and entertainment programmes for Tamil productions
- Write content scripts for various genres: dramas, children's, info-ed, entertainment, as assigned; as well as scripts for interstitials, trailers and digital stories uploads
- Prepare concept submissions for pitching and management presentations
- Produce generic and episodic storylines
- Diploma/Degree in Media, Communication, Creative Writing or equivalent
- Excellent writing skills
- 3-5 years of writing and scripting experience is essential
- Strong interest in television and media
- Effectively bilingual in English and Tamil for business purposes.
- Able to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and with the public
