**Position Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled and dependable **Lead Mechanic** to oversee second shift operations in our fleet maintenance department. This role is critical to ensure the safe, efficient, and timely maintenance of our trucks and equipment. + Lead and supervise second shift mechanics and technicians. Based on workload provided by manager.
+ Oversee the Preventive Maintenance Program
+ Perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on trucks scheduled by manager.
+ Ensure all work is completed in compliance with DOT regulations and company standards.
+ Train and mentor junior mechanics, promoting a culture of safety and improvement.
+ Maintain and oversee the cleanliness of shop.
