SecOps Engineer

Role Overview

The Group Security Operations Engineer plays a pivotal role in uplifting the overall cybersecurity maturity across a group of 31 autonomous Business Units (BUs) – and counting – due to acquisitive nature of the group. Operating as part of a VIG Group-level SWAT team, this individual works hands‑on with local IT and VIG shared central IT resources to strengthen their technical security capabilities, embed best practices, and help deliver key security improvement projects. This is a technical, collaborative and relationship‑driven role. The successful candidate will be deeply involved in implementing practical security solutions while building strong trust and rapport with local IT stakeholders. They will guide and support rather than dictate – ensuring each BU can operate securely, efficiently, and autonomously while aligning with Group Cybersecurity objectives and standards.
