Summary This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for DIB and MRTFB to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This position is with the Directorate of Emergency Services located at Letterkenny Army Depot, Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. Responsibilities Prepare and maintain daily journals, radio logs and records. Maintain radio communications with mobile patrol units and posts. Patrol perimeter and interior on foot or vehicle. Perform traffic control to enforce speed limits and assist at accident scenes. Establish identity of all persons seeking access by closely reviewing credentials. Control personnel access to highly restrictive areas. Serve as a guard on rotating patrols and posts at an installation enforcing security measures to protect personnel, materials or property.
