SECURITY SPECIALIST

Summary The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as the Senior Security Specialist. Providing management oversight for information systems and personnel security program policies in support of USAF, DoD, and National level Special Access Programs (SAPs). Advises AFOSI/PJ senior leadership on major USAF capability requirements and ensures SAP Information Protection procedures are followed. Responsibilities DUTY 1: Provides direction and guidance for the Information Security Program for Special Access Programs (SAPs) as designated by the Secretary of the Air Force. DUTY 2: Directs the Administration of the Information Systems Security Program. DUTY 3: Directs the Personnel Security Program. Provides policy interpretation and guidance for the Personnel Security Program for the System Program Officers, government agencies and all entities involved in the SAP.
