Security Specialist (Insider Threat)

Summary About the Position: Serves as the technical authority for Insider Threat (InT) operations at US Africa Command (AFRICOM). Develops and implements Command-wide policy to achieve the goals and objectives set forth by National Insider Threat policy and statute. Responsibilities Serves as the primary point of contact and senior advisor on InT policy, doctrine, training, evaluation, and program implementation within USAFRICOM and with external organizations. Participates in and represents the lnT Hub as directed and necessary at various National, DoD, and COCOM forums and working groups. Incumbent conducts and manages insider threat risk assessments and referrals for the AFRICOM lnT Hub. Advises the AFRICOM lnT Hub and lnT leadership and others as needed on status, trends, and response/mitigation activities.
