The purpose of this position is: to serve as a Security Specialist , Headquarters United States Air Forces Europe (HQ USAFE) and Air Forces in Africa (AFAFRICA). Responsibilities Responsible for conducting formal SCIF inspections every 5 years (delegated by DIA per DIA 5105.21-M-1) and annual site visits to facilities ensuring compliance with applicable security regulations and policies, and generating formal reports during each visit. In accordance with applicable DoD, USAF, and USAFE/AFAFRICA directives, provides oversight and direction for the Personnel Security Program. Assists in ensuring Defense Special Security Program compliance.
