SEMH Teaching Assistant

New Directions Education, are recruiting for a pool of passionate, supportive and engaged Teaching Assistants, to work within local alternative provisions. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of learners who face social, emotional, and mental health challenges.

We want to hear from:

• Knowledge of trauma-informed approached and therapeutic behaviour support.
• Trained in Team-Teach or other behaviour intervention methods.
• A calm, empathetic and patient approach.
• Strong behaviour management skills.

You will be working with pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4, providing tailored support both in and out of the classroom. The role involves:
