We’re looking for a SEND Teacher for a school in South Leeds who understands that progress isn’t always loud. Sometimes it’s a look, a word, a small step forward that no one else notices… but you do
You’ll be working across specialist and alternative settings, supporting pupils who need consistency, structure, and someone who genuinely understands them.
What your role will really look like
This is teaching, just in a different way.
Shaping learning around each pupil, not squeezing them into a one-size-fits-all approach
Building trust with children who don’t give it easily
Working closely with TAs, SENCOs, and therapists as part of a supportive team
