Palmstreet is looking for a Senior Backend Software Engineer to lead key architectural decisions, work on core user experiences like instant bidding and live interactions, develop scalable architecture to handle millions of users, and maintain a reliable deployment pipeline. You will build and maintain robust backend services and APIs using Node.js and TypeScript, powering both web and mobile applications.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain robust backend services and APIs powering web and mobile applications using Node.js and TypeScript
- Work closely with PM, design, and infrastructure teams to build scalable products
- Establish ownership of particular components, features, or systems with expert end-to-end understanding
- Lead architectural decisions for live streaming, checkout processes, and instant bidding systems
- Successfully complete projects at large scope while maintaining high productivity
