Senior Bulks Operator

Our client is a well-established international commodity trading house with a strong presence across global dry bulk and commodities markets.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end execution of dry bulk cargoes, ensuring smooth and timely shipment performance
• Coordinate vessel nominations, shipping schedules, and charter party obligations with traders, shipowners, agents, and counterparties
• Monitor laytime, demurrage/dispatch, freight costs, and operational risks across voyages
• Handle shipping documentation and ensure compliance with contractual requirements
• Work closely with trading, freight, finance, and risk teams to support commercial objectives and resolve operational issues
• Manage claims and post-fixture matters, ensuring timely resolution

Background

• 6+ years of experience in dry bulk operations, commodity trade operations, or commercial shipping
