Role Overview: We are seeking a Senior Cloudera Data Platform (CDP) Administrator to manage and optimize a large-scale, mission-critical Enterprise Data Lake (EDL). The successful candidate will be responsible for a production environment supporting over 900 CCUs and 2PB of data. This role requires a deep technical understanding of the Hadoop ecosystem and the ability to meet rigorous banking-grade SLAs.
Key Responsibilities:
Platform Governance: Maintain the health and stability of Cloudera CDP v7.1.9, including HDFS, YARN, Spark, Hive, and Cloudbreak.
Performance Engineering: Optimize cluster resource utilization, perform capacity forecasting, and tune YARN configurations for high-performance workload execution.
Lifecycle Management: Plan and execute platform upgrades, security patching, and quarterly EOL/EOS assessments in accordance with strict change management protocols.
