Working with an award-winning MGA located in Downtown Toronto that is looking to hire a Team player to join their growing Team. Your key responsibilities will be to underwrite and develop business, while mentoring a small team of more junior underwriters.

Title: Senior Commercial Underwriter (P&C)

Location: Downtown Toronto (Hybrid)

Responsibilities
Moderate and mentor our existing teams of experienced underwriters.

Ability to Underwrite new and existing property and casualty business by analyzing clients’ business operation, current coverage, and previous claims experience to determine exposure and set appropriate terms and premiums.

Reporting to the Senior Vice President responsible for Underwriting and Insurer engagement.
