Our Financial Services Client is seeking a Senior Data Architect to support data modernization roadmapleading data architecture transformations, particularly in transitioning from on-prem solutions to cloud-based platforms.
6 months contract,% Remote - PST HOURS (ON or BC)
Must Have: 
7+ years of software development experience as a Data Architect creating roadmap and supporting data modernization initiatives within Financial/Banking sector applications.
Strong proficiency in Databricks, Power BI, cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), SQL, and modern data architecture frameworks.
Experience with data lake, data warehouse, data security
Experience in cloud architecture - Azure
Experience with modern core banking systems and awareness of fintech landscape.
