Senior Data Engineer (FinOps Certification needed)

About the role

We’re seeking a Platform Automation & Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain the Cloud Economics team’s data ingestion and automation platforms. This role blends data engineering, analytical rigour, observability and telemetry analysis, and cloud value management to power the team’s cost transparency, attribution, and optimisation capabilities.

In this role, you will:

• Develop and implement tooling and datasets driving telemetry-driven cost attribution and performance-informed financial modelling so product, engineering, analysts and finance stakeholders can make faster data-driven decisions and trust the data.
• Build and maintain data pipelines and tooling that provide cost transparency, surface optimisation opportunities, and support committed use discount modelling and management.
