Senior Developer (Python/AWS)

Pearson Carter are currently working with an innovative deep-tech startup based in Tauranga. They are building cutting‑edge technology that monitors real‑time chemical changes to improve efficiency and safety across industrial systems. As they move from MVP to pilot stage, they are looking for their first in‑house Developer to take ownership of the software platform.

They offer a flexible package with options for contract or permanent, strong autonomy, and the opportunity to shape a product from the ground up.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable Python applications
• Integrate hardware sensors via USB/serial interfaces
• Develop and manage AWS cloud infrastructure
• Build front‑end interfaces (React Native or similar)
• Own architecture from MVP through to production
