Senior EC&I Engineer

Overview

We’re looking for four Senior EC&I Engineers to join our client’s team in Chorley. This contract role is outside of IR35 and involves design development and verification for high‑integrity, safety‑critical projects. You’ll work on concept, scheme and detailed designs, ensuring standards are met and compliance is achieved from start to finish.

Location & Working Pattern

Chorley-based role with a 4-day working week (37.5 hours over four days). Hybrid working is available, with 2 days in the office each week.

Responsibilities

• Develop concept, scheme and detail designs, producing 3D models, drawings and supporting documentation.
• Conduct design risk assessments to identify hazards and define risk control measures.
• Produce scoping calculations and collaborate with Stress Engineers to substantiate design solutions.
