Senior Electrical Protection Engineer - Power Systems. Ref: Lestyn

Introduction

Our client is looking for a Protection Engineer (Snr Electrical Engineer).

Duties & Responsibilities

Discuss and clarify the clients’ needs and determine the feasibility of the solution

Prepare detailed design of approved solutions for the client and ensure the effective development thereof

Design and engineering of complete cost effective protection scheme solution for the client

Ensure all specifications and other information is gathered from the client, in order to provide the project manager with relevant information to prepare the project plan for efficient implementation.

Commission of protection and Control schemes

Provide post project system support for the client as and when required

Design, Testing & Commissioning of Power System Protection, control and automation Schemes

Protection settings calculation & configuration logics design

Mentoring and coaching of junior staff.
