Job Description
This role is within the Quality organization and is responsible for validating and characterizing WD products in customer system environments. The engineer will support customer system integration testing, product validation, issue analysis, and test process improvement to help ensure WD products meet or exceed customer expectations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop, maintain, and improve test infrastructure and test methods for new products and technologies.
- Execute product validation activities throughout the product lifecycle, including development and quality validation phases.
- Maintain accurate test tracking information, including test status, progress updates, and target completion dates.
- Support failure analysis for qualification issues and field issues related to customer system environments.
