Responsibilities
The Engineer of BBTC M&E is involved in the operation and maintenance of all power supply installation at Bukit Batok Transmission Centre (BBTC). Ensuring Mediacorp terrestrial transmissions for both FM radio & digital TV meet government & company performance requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Ability to operate power supply system including the Power Grid power source, diesel generators, all electrical switchboards, Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS), and any associated equipment at BBTC.
- Ensure the serviceability of all the building air-conditioning systems, transmission towers and any associated equipment.
- Carry out Business Continuity Plan (BCP).
- Good proficiency in communicating at different levels
- Manage vendors & contractors.
- Provide supervision, testing of new/replaced equipment.
- Liaise with vendors to resolve faults and follow up on installation or dismantle of equipment.
