Responsibilities
- Technically proficient with mechanical and electrical aspects of centrifugal water pumps, submersible pumps, positive displacement pumps, and diesel engines.
- Assemble, dismantle, install, test, commission, repair, troubleshoot, service, overhaul, and perform preventive and breakdown maintenance on pumps, diesel engines, and motors.
- Requires 7-10 years of experience.
- Prepare technical reports, maintenance records, and project documentation.
- Identify technical problems and recommend solutions or process improvements.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and technical standards.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation.
- Good communication and report-writing skills.
- Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical engineering (or relevant trade certificate in Mechanical or Electrical).
