Senior Environmental & Sustainability Advisor

Based in Doncaster or Birmingham A Leading Infrastructure Contractor is looking for a Senior Environmental & Sustainability Advisor to join their rail team. The main objective of the role is to deliver the sustainability and environmental strategy across a key rail framework. You will: Deliver the environmental and sustainability strategy across a high profile rail framework. Offer support and guidance to operational teams on technical challenges from projects. Manage environmental compliance across framework projects, including ecology surveys, water / noise / dust constraints. Ensure works happen seamlessly when project teams get on site, as all of the consents are place. Visit key projects to be visible and check progress from time to time. Manage external stakeholder relationships from clients through to the Environment Agency, Natural England, Local Authorities and County Councils to demonstrate compliance with environmental legislation.
