Job Overview
Intermediate / Senior Estimator – Water/Wastewater Construction. Looking for an experienced construction professional to join our Civil Estimating team and work on Water/Wastewater projects across Canada. Responsibilities
Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates and tenders from concept to submission. Review drawings and specifications to develop a thorough understanding of project needs and risks. Select and contact sub‑contractors and suppliers, obtaining quotations. Prepare and review supplier and sub‑contractor scopes of work. Produce quality take‑offs with a focus on self‑performed and self‑priced tasks. Close tenders in consultation with senior managers and finalize submission. Assist with coding of estimates when the company is the successful bidder. Review preliminary work schedules using MS Project.
